As a ministry director at Chaparral, I am involved with Missions and Discipleship.
I work closely with our wonderful Missions Commission as we monitor and support our current designated missions. As a former MK (Missionary Kid) I have always had a heart for the mission field and want to support our missionaries with whatever assistance we can give them. Mission opportunities abound here at Chaparral and there are many ways to get involved, whether it be locally, throughout our state, and internationally.
Discipleship is the heart of Christian community. This is the model given to us by Christ Jesus and how we teach one another what it means to live in the kingdom of God. This may be through adult classes, small group studies and spending time one on one.
