I am a native of Arizona, and a founding member of Chaparral Christian Church. As a child I attended the very first worship service over thirty years ago. I have dear memories of helping set up for worship services in the high school where we started.
Every year at Chaparral has been wonderful, but this is the best time of all as I have the privilege of leading in a variety of ministries. In those early days I could not have dreamed of organizing Women’s Ministry events, or directing the “God’s Handiwork Children’s Choir" as I do now.
It is very fulfilling to work in Children’s Ministry assisting Stacy Shirvinski and helping create exciting family events through the year. I especially enjoy Parade of Palms, Vacation Bible School and Autumnfest. I also organize “Mids Ministry” events for adults in their mid-twenties through mid-forties.
I especially enjoy singing in the adult choir and being part of a team of dedicated ministers, ministry directors and supporting staff. Chaparral Christian Church was a wonderful church home as a child, and it is a home that is improving with age.
