One of the key responsibilities of the leadership at Chaparral is to do everything possible to create a safe environment where everyone can find & follow God. As Chaparral leadership has tracked the local and global developments related to COVID-19, the overwhelming recommendations from state and federal government officials is to suspend all meetings of 10 or more people. Therefore, Chaparral has decided to suspend all on-campus church related gatherings effective immediately until further notice. We will continue to provide updates as the situation develops.

Here are a few things you can expect from us:

First, we will begin to launch content on our website, Facebook, and Instagram pages that is designed to be helpful & encouraging later in the week and in the coming weeks. We will leverage various platforms to help foster a sense of community while most of us are stuck in social isolation.

Second, we will live-stream a message on Sunday morning at 10am! Click here watch our livestream and our most recent message and catch up on our past series.

Third, let us know if there is anything we can do to help you or someone you care about. If you are aware of any needs that exist around you, we would love to help, whatever that may be. Pastoral Staff is available for support as well. Message us through the form on the bottom of this page and we will do our best to do what we can.

Finally, pray. We believe prayer can change the world, beginning with the church’s possession of a “peace that transcends all understanding.” We hope to be agents of peace to our friends and neighbors in a time like this, because God can use even this to bring about his own desires.

In all things, let us keep our focus on God. May we be people of peace and grace in a time when chaos and fear threatens us.
